WHERE IS IT?

We’re heading to Bryanston School, a beautiful Victorian manor near Blandford, Dorset. It’s just over an hour and 25 mins drive from Winchester through the New Forest, set in 400 acres of beautiful parkland. If you came along to our weekend away last year, it is the same wonderful venue!

We’ll have access to their extensive grounds, grass tennis courts, indoor swimming pool, sports facilities, and more.

WHEN IS IT?

We’re heading off on the first weekend of the Easter holidays: Friday the 4th- Sunday 6th April 2025. Arrive anytime from 4pm on Friday and we’ll heading home after lunch on the Sunday.

WHAT’S IN THE PROGRAMME?

FAMILY

We’re keen to spend time together especially as the church is growing so fruitfully- so there’ll be plenty of time to just chill out, get to know others in the church, and relax. There’ll be a mixture of informal time but also plenty of organised activities and games.

FOOD

The food is going to be incredible, we enjoy the catering facilities of the boarding school so there is lots on offer for breakfast, lunch and dinner and of course all dietary requirements will be covered. There will; also be plenty of tea, coffee and pastries across the weekend.

TEACHING

Jonny is currently finalising the planning for our teaching sessions this year, so watch this space! There is also a fantastic programme for children from 0-14.

FUN

We’re aiming to build in lots of time for unwinding and relaxing as well as enjoying some organised fun in the evenings, so bring your A game! One of our main aims is for you to have a thoroughly enjoyable weekend.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

Although the prices from Bryanston have increased, we have chosen to absorb these costs as a church so that we can offer the same prices as before, to make this weekend as affordable as possible. However, if you feel able to pay extra that would help us to cover the full cost of the weekend. There’s an optional box on the sign up form below to tick if you’d like to put in something extra. But there’s no pressure.

Here are the headline prices:

• Student / Unwaged = £80

• Adult = £120

• Teen aged 14-16 = £65

• Children aged 0-5 = Free

• First Child 6-13 = Free

• Second Child 6-13 = £40

• Additional Children 6-13 = £15 each

On the other hand, those prices might just not be feasible for you at the present time. Please do let us know in confidence if that’s the case - let Jonny know by clicking here. We’re keen to make this work for everyone.

The deadline for payments is the 6th of March, so please make sure you have sent a payment or contacted Holly by then. We will send out reminders but the less people we need the chase, the easier this is for the staff team.

WHERE WILL I BE STAYING?

As we are staying at a boarding school the rooms are set out as singles, twins, triples and quads. Therefore, please be aware that for larger booking groups we may have to put you in two rooms next to each other, but where possible we will endeavour to fit you in the same room. If you have any particular worries about this please do contact Holly as she will be arranging the rooms and would be happy to talk you through the different options. Furthermore, if you would like to share with a friend, please do make that clear in the sign up form.

Rooms are spacious and either have a shared bathroom, or an en-suite bathroom. Shared bathrooms are private lockable rooms (ie they are not communal bathrooms with cubicles). We will particularly aim to provide en-suite bathrooms for those with small children. Please do let us know if you have concerns about accommodation logistics. The rooms are spacious and will accommodate travel cots where that is needed. Parking is provided adjacent to the accommodation. Families with young children will need to bring their own high chairs for the dining room.
